Now really, who in the hell reads this blog? I mean, this is such heavy, cloying shit. I should really talk about other things. Like the fact that Nate Van Allen from the Siderunners is going to give me guitar lessons. And that I have to help clean the house. And that Mike and Angie made our family dinner and we are still talking about it.

You know, stuff like that.

I read this blog! You're an inspriation to me and I check in here every day to see how you are. I'd love to hear you play guitar when Nate teaches you. That's gonna be awesome!

Who reads this blog:

• People who love you
• People who are amazed at the development of the soul
• People who appreciate a good phrase or a bit of poetry
• People who also feel the world thorugh all of their pores, but who can’t articulate that as well as you
• People who are interested in the growth of a heart, the development of a man
• People who are lonely for others who share their vision of the preciousness of life, and who want to see adversity as an opportunity to develop a closer relationship to other humans (and dogs and trees and the sky)
• People like me, for whom all of these are the reasons why I read this blog.
• Love, s/z

You should know by now that a number of people read this blog.

Both for the heavy cloying stuff and for the other stuff, too. Don't censor yourself—you have something to say and there's a number of us out here that want to hear it.

I read your blog crazy man. Not because you're my blood, but because you're my inspiration and because I respect you. And even the more somber postings give me something to smile about...because they're written by you, by your hand, with your passion. You have an amazing capacity to open yourself up and allow people to see deep within you...that's a great talent and gift to have. Don't ever question it.
